Road outside Swansea school closed after 'serious' crash - live updates

Police have closed a road outside a Swansea school after a "serious" crash on Tuesday evening.

The road is expected to stay closed for sometime while emergency services work at the scene at Morriston Comprehensive School, Heol Eglwys. Witnesses have described a large number of officers at the scene with a tent set up.

A spokesman for South Wales Police said: "We are at the scene of a serious collision at Morriston Comprehensive School, Heol Eglwys, Swansea. The road is currently closed and it is expected to remain closed for some time. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes where possible. Delays are expected in the area."
