Luke Littler snubbed by Luke Humphries in 'most impressive player' admission
Darts hero Luke Littler was brutally snubbed by Luke Humphries when asked who has impressed him at the 2025 World Darts Championship.
'Cool Hand' is on a high after a dominant performance over Nick Kenny, which saw him reach the last 16 at Alexandra Palace. Warrington's Littler has also clinched his spot in the fourth round after coming back to beat Ian White, and he's due to face Ryan Joyce in the next round.
'The Nuke' had to face down some early setbacks in each of his first two contests at Ally Pally. But it hasn't quite been enough to leave a mark on darts superstar and Crewe resident Humphries as he named the singular player who has left their impression on him thus far in the competition.

"I've been watching it as a fan, so I've been watching a lot of the players," said Humphries following his third-round victory (via the Daily Express). "And I just kind of don't really see anybody that's really put their hand up and performed at an absolutely incredible level.
"The only one off [the top of my head] is Callan Rydz. I didn't see that game but that's the only one that's really performed, to me. I mean Luke [Littler] had that incredible last set [against White] but before that he wasn't firing on all cylinders.
"And none of us have! So I think there's a lot of pressure on everyone this year. I think everybody's sort of seeing an opportunity, and it's kind of making everyone try too hard."
Pro Tour sensation Rydz has been the talk of the town after breezing through his first two matches of the championship without losing a single set.
