Long delays and six-mile queues on M56 after crash
Long delays are building on a stretch of the M56 this morning after a crash.
One lane has been shut off on the eastbound carriageway between junction four and junction three near Wythenshawe. Emergency services are on the scene.
Traffic is currently queuing for around six miles up to the closure, according to the National Highways. There are currently delays of around 50 minutes.

A tweet posted by National Highways said: "Lane 1 is closed on the #M56 eastbound between J4 and J3 near #Wythenshawe due to a collision. Traffic Officers and emergency services on scene.
"There are 6 miles congestion on approach causing 50 min delays above normal travel time."
