Liverpool sent Man City 'diamond' warning before Cardiff City FA Cup clash
Liverpool are back in FA Cup action on Sunday when they play host to Championship side Cardiff City in the fourth round at Anfield.
With an important Premier League match four days later, at home to Leicester City, Reds boss Jurgen Klopp will be expected to rotate his side somewhat, with progression to the last 16 still very much the expectation.
But Cardiff who will be travelling in great numbers from South Wales, are not just coming to make the numbers up and will be looking to execute what would be a famous giant killing.
So, ahead of the last-32 tie, the ECHO fired some questions at Wales Online's Cardiff City correspondent, Glen Williams, to get the inside track on the Bluebirds and see what he makes of their chances.
You can say that again!
It's no secret that it's not been a season for the ages for the Welsh capital city club, but when Liverpool was drawn out of the bag it was a much-needed boost for the club.
It's a real glamour tie for supporters down in these parts and the travelling contingent cannot wait for it.
It was utterly dire at the start of the season. Losing eight games in a row was a real nadir and it saw the end of Mick McCarthy's tenure with the Bluebirds.
There has been improvement under Steve Morison, though, it must be said. He has made some decent loan signings in the January market and Cardiff have looked better for it in the last two games.
For a season which started out with hopes of promotion, however, it has been disappointing on the whole.
Yeah, it's pretty big. He was comfortably Cardiff's top asset and was the Bluebirds' top scorer last season and this year so far.
But he wanted the move and tabled a transfer request and Morison said that he would rather people who were here and ready
