But even if the Premier League and Champions League trophies wind up in Manchester City and Real Madrid‘s hands, it will do nothing to take the shine off such an emotional moment.

Besides, it’s not everyday that you can say your goalkeeper scored a last-gasp winner in the Premier League even if you ignore the entire top four race and subsequent quadruple narrative.

In fact, such was the sheer joy of Alisson’s goal in isolation that Liverpool couldn’t help raising a glass to its first anniversary by getting the man himself to react to his stunning finish.
