Liverpool: Jurgen Klopp 'big admirer' of £75m star at Anfield

Liverpool are “bigger admirers” of West Ham United winger Jarrod Bowen than Arsenal, according to talkSPORT reporter Alex Crook.

Jürgen Klopp’s side have been linked with a move for the Hammers star, whilst Arsenal are also thought to have enquired about the availability of the 25-year-old this summer.

CBS Sports journalist Ben Jacobs has previously told GIVEMESPORT that other clubs have definitely enquired about the possibility of signing Bowen this season, stating: “With Bowen, West Ham’s stance remains that they really don’t want to sell, so there’s a lot of clubs circling over Bowen, but the challenge, much like Declan Rice, is persuading West Ham to sell during this window and West Ham remain pretty intent not to let him go.”

According to The Sun, West Ham would demand a £75m fee to let Bowen leave the club this summer amid Premier League interest, but the same report states that the Gunners could be reluctant to spend that much money on the four-time England international this summer, having already made five signings this summer.

And Crook believes that Liverpool and Klopp in particular are big admirers of Bowen.

He told GIVEMESPORT: “I think they’d [Arsenal] be silly not to [be interested in Bowen], although I think Jürgen Klopp and Liverpool are bigger admirers [than Arsenal].”

Bowen would likely be a fantastic addition for Klopp’s side this summer, and could prove to be a direct replacement for Sadio Mané, should the wide man join the Anfield club before the transfer window concludes.
