Erling Haaland swears twice during Sky Sports interview after debut brace for Manchester City

Manchester City forward Erling Haaland may have taken to the Premier League like a duck to water, but he still needs to brush up on his interview technique.

The Norwegian striker firmly put to bed any question marks over how he would adapt to English football – and Pep Guardiola’s style of play – with a monstrous display against West Ham at the London Stadium.

Haaland opened the scoring in the first half, sprinting in behind the Hammers’ defence and poking the ball past Alphonse Areola to win a penalty.

Asked if he felt he should have got a hat-trick, Haaland replied: ‘Yeah I could. If you saw the Gundo [chance] right before I went off, I should have been there. I f***ed up but that’s how it is.’

Pundit Roy Keane was a big fan of Haaland’s post-match interview and display, saying: ‘He’s obviously got no problem with the language – even a couple of swear words
