Live updates as serious crash shuts part of A4232 in Cardiff

Police are dealing with a serious crash on the A4232 from Culverhouse Cross towards the M4. One lane is closed at this time and drivers are being urged to avoid the area.

A spokesperson for South Wales Police said: "We're at the scene of a serious collision on the A4232 travelling from Culverhouse Cross towards the M4.

"Lane one is currently closed whilst the incident is dealt with.

"It is expected to remain closed for a while; please avoid the area and use alternative routes where possible. We're grateful for your patience."
