Live updates as crash between ambulance and motorbike shuts A4119 near Tonyrefail both ways

A busy road in Rhondda Cynon Taf is currently closed in both directions due to a crash. South Wales Police officers are at the scene of the collision on the A4119 near Tonyrefail.

A spokesperson for the force said the collision occurred shortly before 12.30pm and involved an ambulance and motorbike.

Motorists are being asked to avoid the area and delays are already building.

The road is closed in both directions between the Trebanog Hill and Tonyrefail turn offs.
