LIVE updates as air ambulance lands on Stockport park and police respond to 'serious' incident
An air ambulance has landed on a park in Stockport this afternoon following an incident. Police are also at the scene on Heaton Moor Park.
Police vehicles have also been seen parked up along nearby Peel Moat Road, which runs alongside the park. Pictures from the scene show officers in attendance, as people in the park with their children were also seen watching on as the helicopter landed.
The nature of the incident this afternoon has not yet been confirmed.

Greater Manchester Police said a man in his 50s was found with serious injuries at a property nearby.
He was rushed to hospital from the scene as an air ambulance also landed in the park.
His condition and the extent of his injuries has not yet been confirmed.
It is unclear whether the incident is being treated as suspicious at this time.

The helicopter landed shortly after 3pm today. Children could be seen watching on as they played in the area.
A witness at the scene has told us emergency services have now left the scene on blue lights.
A police van, police car and ambulance called to the scene and parked up on Heaton Moor Road.
Police have now issued a statement on this incident.
They say a man was rushed to hospital after being found with serious injuries at an address nearby.
An investigation is ongoing.
