LIVE traffic updates as M60 and M62 severely delayed after crash
Drivers are facing 'severe delays' on a Greater Manchester motorway this morning (June 2) after an accident.
Traffic service Inrix has reported 'severe delays and one lane closed due to an accident' on the M62.
Two vans and a car are reported to be involved in the crash on the M62 heading eastbound from J11 A574 Birchwood Way (Birchwood) to J12 M60 J11 (Eccles Interchange).
There is congestion to J10 (Croft Interchange), the traffic service has said.
The accident has caused the M60 to also snarl up with growing traffic.

The lane closure has now been lifted, but queues remain.
As of writing, normal traffic conditions are expected to resume between 9.45am and 10am.
Motorists continue to be stuck on the M62 as images show huge queues.
There is queueing traffic on M60 anticlockwise at J15 M61 J1 (Swinton Interchange). Congestion is back to M62 J19 (Heywood).
There is also traffic stacking back on M60 anticlockwise at J15 M61 J1 (Swinton Interchange). Congestion is tailing to M62 J19 (Heywood).
National Highways cameras show the extent of the traffic building on the motorway.
There are delays of 30 minutes on the M62 as traffic queues.
Congestion is now stretching back to the M6 junction 23 for Haydock.
The lane closure continues this morning on the M62 following the accident. Lane four of four is shut.
