Live Swansea updates as 'serious assault' sees road locked down

Police have arrested four men following a "serious assault" in Swansea. South Wales Police officers were called to Cwm Road in Hafod shortly after 12pm after receiving reports a man had been injured.

Police say four men have been detained following the incident, including a 31-year-old from Waun Wen, a 49-year-old from Gendros, a 37-year-old from the Strand and a 39-year-old from Morriston.

The force said the road would remain closed for "some time" and have appealed for anyone with information to help with their investigation to come forward.
