Police have taped off a road outside a Stockport primary school after a man was hit by a bus.

Emergency services are in attendance on Outwood Road, in Heald Green, this morning (April 29).

Greater Manchester Police confirmed it is attending a collision involving a pedestrian and a bus which took place at around 8.10am.

It's understood that the pedestrian, believed to be a man, has suffered serious injuries.

The full extent of his injuries are yet to be confirmed.
