LIVE: Queues building as all traffic STOPPED on M60 after crash - latest updates

All traffic has been stopped on a section of the M60 this morning after a crash.

The clockwise carriageway is currently blocked at junction 27 for the Portwood Roundabout.

All lanes are currently closed.

Police are on their way to the scene.

Congestion is back to junction 25 for Brinnington, according to traffic alert service Inrix.

North West Motorway Police tweeted: "Patrols are currently making to a RTC on the M60 clockwise between Jnc 27 Portwood and Jnc 1 - Emergency Services currently have all lanes closed.

"We will update you shortly, thank you for your patience."
