A residential street and block of flats have been cordoned off in Trafford this evening amid reports of a serious incident.
A large police presence has been pictured along Wardle Road in Sale. The road is blocked off in both directions with an apartment block also taped off.
Officers remain on the scene this evening. The nature of the incident has not yet been confirmed.

A man has been rushed to hospital after being found with serious injuries in a flat in Trafford on Thursday afternoon (June 6).
The Manchester Evening News understands there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances involved. Officers had been called to concerns for the man's welfare.
The residential street was cordoned off, along with the entrance to the apartments. Forensics were seen bagging up evidence and coming in and out of the flats throughout Thursday evening.
It is currently thought that police are not looking for any suspects in relation to the incident. Investigations remain ongoing with a scene in place throughout the evening.

Police and paramedics attended the incident at an apartment block on Wardle Road in Sale at around 3.30pm. A man, whose age has not been confirmed, was found seriously injured at the scene.
