LIVE: Major delays on M62 as lanes closed due to crash - latest updates
There are major delays on the M62 motorway this morning near Rochdale following a crash.
Traffic was initially stopped on the eastbound section of the carriageway between junction 18 and junction for Heywood.
Two out of four lanes still remain closed this morning as emergency services are said to be heading to the scene. National Highways have warned of traffic tailbacks for up to two miles.

One driver, who is currently stuck in standstill traffic, tweeted: "Standstill on the M62 at the junction with the M66 and M60."
National Highways North-West said: "Traffic has now been released on the #M62 eastbound in #GreaterManchester between J18 (for the #M60) and J19 (#Heywood).
"Two lanes (of 4) remain closed at this time whilst emergency services remain on scene. There's 2 miles of congestion on approach."
