Live M6 traffic updates tonight as crash in Cheshire leaves lanes closed
Lanes are closed on the M6 motorway in Cheshire following a crash tonight (Sunday, January 19). The lanes are shut to traffic on the southbound carriageway between Junction 19 (Knutsford) and Junction 18 (Middlewich).
The closures were first reported at around 7.23pm. Traffic is queueing as a result.
Inrix, the traffic data company, said: "Two lanes closed and queueing traffic due to accident on M6 Southbound from J19 A556 (Knutsford) to J18 A54 Middlewich Road (Middlewich / Holmes Chapel)."
