LIVE: Long delays on stretch of M62 after crash - latest updates

There are delays on a stretch of the M62 this morning after a crash.

One lane is currently shut on the westbound carriageway between junction 21 for Milnrow and junction 20 for Rochdale. According to National Highways, the crash happened at around 7am.

The vehicles involved in the crash have been cleared, but one lane remains closed due to a broken-down lorry. Congestion is back to junction 22.

A tweet posted by National Highways said: "1 lane (of 3) remains closed on the #M62 westbound in #GreaterManchester between J21 (#Milnrow) and J20 (#Rochdale). The vehicles involved in the collision have now cleared, however the lane remains closed due to a broken down lorry. There's still a 30 minute delay."
