BREAKING: All traffic stopped on M62 after crash - latest updates
All traffic has been stopped on the M62 after a collision this evening. All drivers on the westbound side of the motorway have been temporarily stopped between J11 for Birchwood and J10 for the M6.
A collision, understood to have occurred in both lanes three and four, was reported with police and traffic officers currently at the scene.
Highways North West have reported delays of around 30 minutes this evening with congestion continuing to build.

Highways North West tweeted: The #M62 westbound between J11 (#Birchwood) and J10 #M6), traffic has been temporarily STOPPED due to a collision.
"There are currently delays of up to 30 minutes on approach."
