LIVE: Hunt for driver underway after man killed after being struck by van
A busy roundabout is closed outside a retail park in Oldham this evening (Wednesday, March 26) after a man was struck by a van and killed.
An air ambulance was also scrambled to the scene following the crash on Broadway (A663) at the Chadderton Roundabout.
A road closure is in place with police and paramedics in attendance. The road is currently blocked along with the A627(M) entry slip road and Burnley Lane.
Greater Manchester Police say a hunt is underway to find the driver of the vehicle.

A screen has now been erected at the scene by fire crews.
Maps show the size of the closure on the roundabout off Broadway this evening.
A slip road onto the A627(M) is also closed by police.
The pedestrian, understood to be in his 50s, was killed in a 'road rage' incident this evening.
It is thought the driver of a van deliberately struck the victim before speeding away from the scene.
A major hunt is underway to trace the suspect.
