LIVE: Greater Manchester hit by heavy rain as train services cancelled and M62 floods
Flood alerts have been issued after Greater Manchester was hit by heavy rain throughout Saturday.
Hours of heavy rain have hit the region, and the Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for much of the weekend.
On Saturday evening flood alerts were issued for the River Irwell around Oldham, Bolton, Rochdale and Ramsbottom; the River Irwell across much of the city centre, Salford and Trafford; the River Mersey around Bramhall, Stockport, Sale, Altrincham and Urmston; the River Bolin around Bollington, Macclesfield, Knutsford and Wilmslow; and River Mersey around Hyde, Ashton, Denton, Stalybridge and Glossop.
A flood alert means that flooding is possible so you should prepare now.
All parts of Greater Manchester are covered by the Met Office yellow warning of rain, which runs from 9am on Saturday until 6am on Sunday.
The Met Office said in its warning there was 'a small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded, causing damage to some buildings'.

A 21-hour yellow weather warning of rain is in place across Greater Manchester at the moment.
All parts of the region are covered by the warning, which runs from 9am on Saturday until 6am on Sunday.
The Met Office said in its warning there was 'a small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded, causing damage to some buildings'.
"Where flooding occurs, there is a slight chance of delays or cancellations to train and bus services, " added the alert.
"Spray and flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures."
Flooding on the train line between Bolton and Blackburn has caused services to stop running. Cancellations, delays and changes are expected to last until 7:30pm
