Crash in heavy rain blocks part of M4 near Swansea

Drivers on the M4 faced delays due to a collision on the M4 near Swansea this afternoon. Motorists are being warned of potentially hazardous driving conditions as Storm Amy brings heavy rain and strong winds to the UK. You can follow our live updates on the storm here.

The M4 westbound was partially blocked due to the crash at J44 A4230 Peniel Green Road (Llansamlet) for around an hour, with congestion reported between J43 and J45.

Traffic has since cleared.
