Liv Morgan: Plans for WWE star at SummerSlam after big title win
Liv Morgan shocked the world last night by becoming SmackDown Women’s Champion at WWE Money in the Bank.
The show opened with Morgan beating out Alexa Bliss, Becky Lynch, Asuka, Raquel Gonzalez, Lacey Evans and Shotzi to win the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match.
She wasted little time with the briefcase too, cashing-in her contract less than two hours later after the conclusion of Ronda Rousey v Natalya.
In the penultimate match on the show, Ronda defeated Natalya to retain her SmackDown Women’s Championship, but tweaked her knee during the bout.
Feeling like there was an opportunity to capitalise, Morgan then decided to cash-in her briefcase, rolling by Ronda to score the huge win and become champion.

In beating Rousey, Morgan became a Women’s Champion in WWE for the very first time, with this being the 28-year-old’s first title reign of any description.
After winning the title, Rousey and Morgan embraced, before the former UFC star left Liv alone in the ring to soak up the reaction from the crowd.
Many fans thought that Ronda may turn heel on Morgan at the match to set up a rematch at SummerSlam, but that didn’t go down.
However, reports state that Rousey v Morgan is still the plan for SummerSlam, at least if Dave Meltzer is to be believed.
On the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer stated that Liv will defend her title against Ronda later this month at SummerSlam in Nashville.
Right now the plan is Liv Morgan and Ronda Rousey at SummerSlam.
Many fans thought that Charlotte Flair would return in time for the show on July 30 to feud
