Lisandro Martinez sets Manchester United target as Mason Mount sends message to fans

Lisandro Martinez is making strides in his recovery from his recurring metatarsal injury and is nearing a return to action.

He has been sidelined since the first week of September after his injury, first sustained in April, needed a second round of surgery. He is expected to be back before January is over and has now set his teammates a challenge for the rest of the season.

Also on the injury list is summer signing Mason Mount, who has only played 12 games due to two setbacks since his arrival. He is working his way back from his latest calf injury and sent a message to supporters after being spotted in individual training this week. Here are the morning United headlines.

Martinez has admitted United crashing out of the Champions League made him disappointed and he has warned his teammates must now look to win every game for the remainder of the season.
