Lisandro Martinez sent perfect five-word message by Man Utd teammate after first Argentina goal

Alejandro Garnahco has sent an emphatic message to Manchester United teammate Lisandro Martinez after his heroics for Argentina.

Thursday night saw Argentina need a penalty shootout to beat Ecuador in the quarter-final of the Copa America. Martinez scored for his country in the 1-1 after 120 minutes, with Kevin Rodriguez also on the score sheet for Ecuador.

A penalty shootout was needed to decide the winner, with Argentina claiming a 4-2 victory over spot-kicks. Julian Alvarez, Nicolas Otamendi, Alexis Mac Allister and Gonzalo Montiel all scored their penalties, while Lionel Messi was the only Argentina player to miss from the spot.

Argentina will now look ahead to their semi-final against either Venezuela or Canada next week. Brazil will face Uruguay in their quarter-final while Colombia take on Panama to complete the last-eight draw.
