Manchester United dropped to fourth in the Premier League table after losing 2-0 to top-four rivals Newcastle United on Sunday afternoon.

Erik ten Hag's men had the chance to increase their lead over the Magpies, but the away side were incredibly disappointing on the day and were well-beaten by Newcastle. Joe Willock and Callum Wilson both got on the scoresheet for the home side, while the Reds registered just one shot on target in the entire match.

United, who are now without a win in their last three top-flight games, could potentially find themselves in fifth position by the end of Monday night. Tottenham have the opportunity to climb above the Reds in the table if they manage to overcome Everton at Goodison Park.

Here are four things fans may have missed during United's disappointing defeat at Newcastle:
