Lindelof, Martinez, Varane - Manchester United injury news and return dates after Arsenal defeat

Manchester United suffered Premier League heartbreak at Arsenal on Sunday as the Reds lost in stoppage time.

With the scores tied at 1-1, Alejandro Garnacho thought he won the game with a well-taken finish but a tight offside call cut short the celebrations. Deep into added time, United were hit with a double sucker-punch as first Declan Rice and then Gabriel Jesus secured the three points for the hosts.

United finished the match with a centre-back partnership of Harry Maguire and Jonny Evans after both Victor Lindelof and Lisandro Martinez were forced off. With the Reds' centre-back options severely depleted, supporters may be glad to see the international break.
