Lewis Hamilton warning to F1 field for coming 2022 season sent by Karun Chandhok
Former Formula 1 driver and Sky pundit Karun Chandhok has warned that Lewis Hamilton is going to be like the tiger who had its tail pulled in 2022, following on from how the 2021 campaign ended.
The second three-day period of testing begins on Thursday with the F1 circus in Bahrain for the next couple of weeks, as the first race of the season approaches the weekend after this one coming.
Certainly, it’s an exciting time as the new campaign draws ever nearer and many are looking forward to seeing Lewis Hamilton challenging once more for the championship, especially after how the 2021 campaign finished.
And, ahead of the new season, former driver Chandhok believes that the 7-time world champion is going to be hugely motivated
“One of two things was going to happen,” Chandhok told Sky.
“Either Lewis was going to get disillusioned with the sport, or you’ll pull the tail on the tiger. I suspect we’ve got the latter.”
Certainly, many are expecting a renewed Hamilton surge in 2022 and it’s up to the likes of Max Verstappen and others to try and rise to the challenge if they want to win the world championship this season.
