Leicester City receive huge transfer boost as they work on 'concrete' deal

Here’s the latest Leicester City news on Sunday, March 27, 2022.

Torino have reportedly asked Leicester City to extend Dennis Praet's loan deal.

The Belgian midfielder enjoyed the first half of this season at the Italian side, where he has been on a season-long loan from City since the summer.

However, Praet broke his metatarsal in February and has been ruled out for several months. The 27-year-old is said to be "struggling" with his recovery, which will see him miss the rest of the season.

Despite the bad news, Gazzetta Dello Sport report that Torino have "asked" Leicester to sanction a second loan deal, something the Italian outlet describe as a "concrete scenario".

Leicester City transfer target Charles de Ketelaere has said he is "ready for a new adventure" in the Premier League.

The 21-year-old was first linked with a move to City in the January transfer window after his impressive form for Club Brugge. It was made clear, though, that it would not happen until the summer at the earliest.

De Ketelaere has scored 17 goals and provided nine assists in 41 games across all competitions. He has broken into the Belgian national team set-up and has caught the eye of scouts from top clubs across Europe. His arrival at the King Power Stadium would make sense for Leicester, continuing their transfer policy of signing young talents with great potential.

The son of Leicester City first-team coach Kolo Touré has joined in training with the seniors this week.

Yassine, 16, is a right-footed attacking player who accepted a two-year scholarship with Leicester back in December. The youngster has been with the club for over two years, following his father to the club.
