Leicester City ratings vs Roma: Ademola Lookman determination earns draw as substitutes pay off

Leicester City’s maiden European semi-final is finely balanced after their efforts went unrewarded at home to Roma.

City made all the running at the King Power Stadium but they will head to the Italian capital next week with the tie level, Brendan Rodgers’ side unable to convert their pressure into clear-cut chances.

They did get one all-important goal in the second half to ensure they do not trail at the halfway stage, Ademola Lookman forcing home a Harvey Barnes’ cross midway through the second half after Rodgers had made changes in search of an equaliser.

Roma had led at half-time, captain Lorenzo Pellegrini firing through Kasper Schmeichel’s legs with the visitors’ only chance. But City had been on top throughout, and will feel they deserved to take a lead to the Stadio Olimpico.
