Leicester City injury news and return dates ahead of Brentford

The injury table at Seagrave is as busy as ever.

In the very best case scenario, Leicester will be without six players when Brentford visit the King Power Stadium on Sunday afternoon. There are question marks over a number of players which could see that number rise.

Manager Brendan Rodgers provided updates on his injured players in his pre-match press conference as his side prepare to host Thomas Frank's Brentford. It includes an update on Wilfred Ndidi, who came off with a knee injury against Rennes, as well as a number of other key players.

With that said, the hectic season for City's medical staff continues. Here is a summary of the latest on the injury front at the King Power Stadium...

: The midfielder picked up a potential medial ligament injury at Rennes. It "might keep him out for a few weeks", according to Brendan Rodgers.

Soyuncu missed the trip to Rennes through illness but should be ready to face Brentford. Rodgers said: “Caglar Soyuncu should be back. Him and Patson Daka didn’t feel well at all so couldn’t travel. Cags is much better."

Daka also missed the away leg in France due to illness but is unlikely to be back for this weekend. Rodgers said: “Patson is a question mark, I don’t think he will be available for the weekend."

: The duo were unwell in France and were substituted in the second half. Thankfully, they are both set to return this weekend. Rodgers said: “Ricardo Pereira and Ademola Lookman put themselves out there last night even though they weren’t 100 per cent and weren’t feeling well. They came into the game and gave their all for the team, so they should still be available."

: Evans is likely to return in early April as he recovers from a hamstring injury which has kept him out for a number
