Leeds want to 'look into' star dubbed 'new Zlatan' - journalist

Journalist Dean Jones has claimed that Noa Lang is someone who Leeds United are keen on bringing to Elland Road this summer.

Leeds United have reportedly previously approached Noa Lang over a potential move to the Premier League and the Dutch winger has recently said that he has decided to leave Club Brugge and will seek a new challenge ahead of next season.

Lang featured heavily for Club Brugge last season, he made 48 appearances for the Belgian side whilst scoring nine goals and registering 15 assists along the way. Six of these appearances came in the luxurious Champions League.

With Lang saying that he is ready to leave his current side, this opens the door for Leeds, and Jones claimed to GiveMeSport that both the Dutch winger and Ryan Kent are possible options for Jesse Marsch this summer when recruiting a new winger.

“Two other players to look out for, I guess, is Noa Lang. Lang is somebody that they still want to look into.

“And there’s Ryan Kent, too, who obviously we’ve talked about for ages in terms of being a Leeds target but genuinely is still a Leeds target,” Jones said.

Interestingly, a Dutch journalist even claimed that Noa Lang could be the ‘next Zlatan’.

Raphinha looks like he is on the brink of leaving Leeds Untied, with Chelsea reportedly leading the race to sign him ahead of Chelsea and Barcelona, so Marsch will need to try and find a suitable replacement that has the potential to produce similar numbers as the Brazilian.
