Leeds: £60k-a-week star 'not available' at Elland Road

Leeds forward Jack Harrison is still not for sale, according to transfer insider Dean Jones.

The £60,000 per-week ace only joined the Elland Road club permanently last summer following three successful loan spells, but he’s been the subject of intense speculation from Newcastle this summer.

Just two days after Leeds avoided relegation, the Telegraph claimed that Newcastle were interested in signing Harrison, who scored the vital goal at Brentford, which secured Leeds’ Premier League status.

According to reports in France, some two months later, the Magpies, who are in desperate need of attacking reinforcements, launched a £33.5m bid, although Leeds had already lost Raphinha and Kalvin Phillips and therefore knocked back the offer.

He told GIVEMESPORT: “I think Harrison had a really good game at the weekend, he was creating a lot of opportunities and the message coming out is that he’s not available.”

Leeds might have dropped two points at Southampton on Saturday, but it was another promising afternoon for Harrison, who has started the campaign in blistering form.
