Kylian Mbappe caught making "fed up" confession to Paul Pogba on France duty

Kylian Mbappe has again fuelled speculation regarding his future after footage emerged of him confessing he's "a little fed up" as he arrived for France duty.

The Frenchman's deal with Paris Saint-Germain is due to expire this summer and whilst there have been continued talks about a contract extension, nothing has yet been signed. It means he can leave the Parc des Princes for nothing amid long standing interest from Real Madrid. Los Blancos made bids for the forward in the summer, but they were knocked back.

Mbappe has continued to perform in the French capital but his efforts alone could not halt PSG's Champions League exit. He scored goals in both legs but the Parisians were beaten 3-2 on aggregate by Madrid. The fallout has been heavy and clearly that looks to be affecting the 23-year-old.

He has now teamed up with his French teammates as they prepare for matches with Ireland and South Africa. Paul Pogba, who himself will be available on a free this summer, asked his compatriot how things were going at club level to which Mbappe replied: "I'm a little fed up" - as seen on a video captured by FFF TV.

Mbappe himself has continued to shut down any transfer talk when quizzed on the matter. Madrid were keen on acquiring his services back in 2017 when he rose to stardom at Monaco. PSG won the race for his signature on that occasion but the player's affection for Los Blancos is no secret as they seek to add their next marquee name.

PSG though are determined to retain the player and have continued to remain optimistic. "I cannot say precisely what the chances are that Mbappé extends but we have possibilities," sporting director Leonardo told L'Equipe before PSG's Champions League exit.
