Kyler Murray: Albert Breer drops big update on Cardinals QB amid contract dispute
NFL reporter Albert Breer has discussed the latest when it comes to Kyler Murray and his presence with the Arizona Cardinals this preseason.
The Arizona Cardinals have slowly been moving in the right direction in the past couple of years. Having tried and failed with Josh Rosen in the 2018 NFL Draft, they moved on to Heisman Trophy winner Kyler Murray and head coach Kliff Kingsbury and aren’t looking back.
Having gone through 2018 with just 3 wins under Rosen, that increased to 5 wins in 2019 with Murray at the helm, then 8 wins in 2020 and 11 wins last season, finishing 2nd in the NFC West and making the playoffs for the first time since 2015.
Part of that has been down to the play of the electric Murray, adept with both his arm and his feet who had put up 11,480 passing yards to go with 70 touchdowns to just 34 interceptions whilst also rushing for 1,786 yards and a further 20 touchdowns.
