Kyle Walker reveals plan to break Anfield tradition and responds to Trent Alexander-Arnold

Kyle Walker is eager to secure his first ever win as a player at Liverpool when his Manchester City side travel to Anfield in Sunday's heavyweight Premier League match.

Manchester City could move top of the Premier League with a victory at Anfield. Pep Guardiola's side are unbeaten in their 12 league games, with their most recent defeat coming against Aston Villa in December last year.

While Walker has played a significant part in City's success over the years, he has never won at Anfield. In the build-up to the game, Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold said his side's success 'means more' to his club's supporters.

Walker refused to get involved, insisting he is solely focussed on the task at hand which is to help City claim their second Premier League win at Anfield since 2003, but did say on Alexander-Arnold's comments: "I'm not even getting involved in that. It's been floating around the changing room today."

"I've never won there, never," he added, speaking on Rio Ferdinand Presents FIVE. "Never won there with no team. [Riyad] Mahrez could have changed that but he skied it, the penalty. Listen, they've had some good players and I think their fans are incredible, it's one thing I do say, that the fans are really good. Just never won."

Walker is keen to break the curse this weekend, revealing how he plans to gain a slight advantage over Jurgen Klopp's side. "If I play and I win the coin toss, I'm flipping them," he added, revealing his plans to stop Liverpool from attacking the Anfield Road End in the first half and the Kop in the second half -
