Koroma's Huddersfield Town role and key 'predictions' which haven't worked out as planned

The Yorkshire Live Huddersfield Town team here consists of two people bringing you all your Terriers content – Steven Chicken and me, David Hartrick. As well as doing all the online and print articles we also make up the team on Ooh To Be A Terrier, the weekly Town podcast available from all good podcast shops.

All in that’s a lot of words about Huddersfield Town, their players, and their fortunes. We have the dubious honour of being on the record about almost everything then, and for once we are in complete agreement with our biggest fans in the comments sections as a result; we don’t get everything right. In fact, we are often well wide of the mark.

When reporting news obviously we are factual and correct but where we can call it wrong are opinion pieces and forecasts. Our Predicted XIs are rarely right but usually not too far off, our Prediction previews usually a goal out one way or another. Often trends don’t pan out as we think they will and that’s where we have been required to make a judgment in print more often than not. It’s not that we’re wrong all the time, we do get plenty of things right too, but when you are required to commit to things for a living the best you can hope for is as high a hit rate as covering any sport will allow.

With that in mind and with the fact that in truth neither myself or Steven actually mind being wrong in this context, we thought we’d look back at some of the bigger things we *ahem* maybe missed a bit on. We may as well start with a big one in the spirit of this then…
