Kim Min-jae's 'farewell' amid Manchester United interest and more transfer rumours

Napoli defender Kim Min-jae has reportedly already said his goodbyes to his team-mates amid ongoing links with a move to Manchester United.

That's according to reports via CalcioNapoli24, who report the 26-year-old has made his intentions clear regarding a potential switch to the Premier League this summer. Min-Jae has enjoyed a stellar debut season in Italy, helping Napoli claim a first Serie A title in 33 years.

The player's release clause does not come into effect until July, meaning the Reds will have to wait until at least the beginning of the month to seal a deal. Min-Jae made 46 appearances in total during the 22/23 campaign, scoring twice.

Elsewhere, United club captain Harry Maguire is said to be attracting interest from Tottenham Hotspur as the defender seeks pastures new this summer.

A report from The Telegraph states the Reds' interest in Harry Kane will play no part in a potential deal and that Maguire's arrival could help keep the club's all-time leading goalscorer at the club this summer.

Having appointed former Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou on Tuesday morning, Spurs are said to be hoping to offload as many as seven players, with Ben Davies and Eric Dier two of the names touted as potential outgoings this summer. James Maddison and David Raya are two other United-linked players reportedly on the Lilywhites watch list, as the club seek to improve on a poor season.
