Kent FA’s Women and Girls Extravaganza event to return at University of Kent in Canterbury
Kent FA’s Women and Girls Extravaganza will soon return for its second year.
The event, sponsored by Eurotunnel, will be on Saturday, March 7, at the University of Kent in Canterbury.
Bringing together women and girls from across the county, the all-day celebration offers something for every age and every ability - from first-‑time players to seasoned football lovers - whether you want to play, learn, compete or simply enjoy the atmosphere.
It kicks off from 10am with a Wildcats Session, aimed at those aged between five and 11, that will take place alongside ‘Play Her Way Beginner’ sessions for mums and female family members new to the game.
There’ll be squad girls’ sessions for those aged between 12 and 15 from 11.15am until 12.15pm, and ‘Play Her Way Beginner’ sessions for those aged 16 and over.
Two tournaments for women of all levels will then take place between 1.30pm and 3.30pm before the awards ceremony from 3.45pm.
