Kenny Miller flips former Celtic striker jibe as Rangers hero serves Alan Brazil a custard pie

On-form Kenny Miller was ready and waiting for Alan Brazil's playful jibe over starring for both Celtic and Rangers.

The broadcaster was in devilish form as he teed up himself and Ally McCoist's special guest by only mentioning his stint with the Parkhead side – cheekily leaving out three spells in Light Blue in which he forged himself as an Ibrox hero with a knack for winning trophies and scoring season-defining goals.

Brazil didn't ease up when Miller joined the breakfast show and was straight in asking the former Scotland star how he was able to play for both sides of the Glasgow divide. But the 43-year-old was ready and waiting and told the Ipswich hero his hypothetical question didn't stack up as he had never been in his position.

Speaking on talkSPORT, Miller said: "It's easy to say when you haven't been presented with that option. Being an Edinburgh boy, an Edinburgh family, it didn't make it any easier but I lived in Edinburgh. I never lived in Glasgow. When I went to Celtic I lived in Edinburgh and I travelled through with Lee Naylor.

"'It was a chance, Al, I went to Rangers in 2000, the team we had back then was sensational. It was outrageous. I was there for that season (2000/01) and we won nothing. When I had the chance to go to Celtic, I have always been someone who wants to win, I couldn't stay down in England."
