Kate Middleton interrupts summer holiday to share personal message alongside William

Prince William and Kate Middleton have taken a brief pause from their summer retreat to share a heartfelt message.

The Royal pair are enjoying quality time at Balmoral with the Royal Family before their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, return to school. Today the Prince and Princess of Wales expressed their support for Team GB's Paralympics squad as the Paralympic Games commence in Paris tonight with a grand opening ceremony.

They retweeted a post by Paralympics GB, which excitedly announced: "It's today #Paralympics".

In a show of encouragement, William and Kate responded: "Looking forward to another few weeks of incredible sport! Wishing the very best of luck to our @ParalympicsGB athletes and all those competing at #Paris2024." Their tweet was personally signed off with 'WandC', indicating a direct message from the couple themselves. William and Kate have always been enthusiastic sports fans; they were present at the London Paralympics opening ceremony in 2012.

Although they did not attend the Paris Olympics earlier this month, they celebrated Team GB's efforts with a congratulatory video. The video compilation from the Prince and Princess of Wales was kicked off by none other than Snoop Dogg, who charmed viewers with his opening "greetings loved ones" and a cool sign-off with "thank you Great Britain, on behalf of big Snoop Dogg, the prince and his lovely wife".
