Jurgen Klopp's three words add to confusing Man City view on title race

Jurgen Klopp basked in what he believed to have been the greatest half his Liverpool team had produced against Manchester City.

The way that his injury-hit side got back into the game against the Premier League champions and then put them under the Anfield 'tsunami', as Pep Guardiola described it, was, Klopp said, one of the best moments of his coaching career. Whatever the tiredness that has led to him walking away from one of the biggest jobs in football, the Liverpool manager is still able to conjure up some of the best performance in the division.

Whether or not Klopp ends with another league title remains to be seen though. Liverpool have enjoyed more than their fair share of results against Guardiola's side over the last eight years but have just one Premier League to their name against City's five.

Ten letters and three words that really don't say a lot yet speaks resoundingly for how many feel in this title race. When you are assessing the final standings, one glance at the club that have won five out of the last six titles - usually with outstanding results in the crunch period of the campaign - is all anyone needs not to write them off.

That experience may yet prove crucial, especially given the way Arsenal folded last season under pressure from the Blues.
