Jurgen Klopp has secret weapon in Liverpool squad to combat Darwin Nunez concerns

Darwin Nunez's slow start to pre-season has been the major talking point of Liverpool's pre-season tour of Asia, but Jurgen Klopp certainly isn't concerned over his new £85million man.

The Reds chief has already urged fans to be patient with the former Benfica star, and it's unlikely that many people will be reading too much into two ineffective cameo appearances from Nunez, just weeks after he became Liverpool's new club-record signing.

Even for a player of Nunez's ilk, a transition period is inevitable when you join one of Europe's biggest clubs; particularly at a club like Liverpool, where it's practically impossible to slot seamlessly into Klopp's taxing tactical philosophy.

But the Reds and Klopp could have the perfect man to help the 23-year-old adjust to life at Liverpool in the form of Thiago Alcantara - and the midfield maestro has already tried to take Nunez under his wing.

In a clip that has been shared to social media, Thiago - who was born in Italy to Brazilian parents - was captured relaying some intense instructions from Klopp to his new teammate in Spanish. The Reds multilingual playmaker speaks the same language as Nunez and could be prove to be invaluable when it comes to helping the Uruguayan hitman settle in at Anfield.

Thiago can also lean on his own experiences in England to guide Nunez; if anybody knows a thing or two about the pressure of hitting the ground running in the Premier League, it's Thiago.
