Jota strikes immediate Karim Benzema bromance as former Celtic star dives into Al Ittihad samba routine

Former Celtic ace Jota has wasted no time in integrating himself into his new surroundings and Al-Ittihad squad as the winger links up with Karim Benzema in training games.

The Celtic fan-favourite has completed a money-spinning move from the Scottish Premiership to Saudi Pro League and has joined a star-studded side with Karim Benzema and N'Golo Kante part of the ranks at his new outfit. It wasn't just the 28 goals in 83 games for Celtic that led to the fans embracing him but his outgoing personality too, which has been on display across his new side's social media channels as they continue their training.

A fast-footed 1v1 game with coaches calling out for 'samba' dances is probably right up Jota's street being a tricky winger, and Jota's display led to more hugs with Ballon d'Or winner Karim Benzema following his turn. After Cristiano Ronaldo 's mega move to Saudi Arabia, a slew of stars had been moving to the league with big money an undoubted attraction, with ambitions to become one of the world's biggest.

In a tweet posted by Al Ittihad, the winger can be seen with superstars Benzema and Kante as their training fun continues. And there's even time for an embrace as the club pick up their fitness work.

Initially joining on loan from Benfica, Jota went on to win two Premiership titles, a Scottish Cup and two League Cups during time in Glasgow. Brendan Rodgers' side are currently in his native Portugal for a pre-season bootcamp.
