Jonathan Tah has told Manchester United what they want to hear amid transfer 'interest'
Jonathan Tah believes his style of play suits the Premier League amid reported transfer interest from Manchester United.
Tah, 28, has been linked with moving to England for the best part of a decade since breaking onto the scene in Germany as a teenager. But since signing for Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2015, the central defender has remained with the Bundesliga champions and is now their vice-captain.
However, after entering the final year of his contract, a departure looks inevitable if no new contract is signed. United could therefore arrange a cut-price deal under the noses of Bayern Munich, who have been leading the race for his signature all summer.

Reports have emerged that the club enquired about Tah late last week, adding that United are aware Bayern Munich have yet to reach an agreement with Leverkusen.
In what is developing into a 'transfer triangle' between the clubs, there is an acknowledgement that United have yet to agree terms with Bayern over Matthijs de Ligt. Tah would be a ready-made replacement for the Netherlands international, but United could now make the defender one of three centre-backs they sign this summer.
Tah has spoken about having ambitions to play in the English top flight, telling Spox (via OneFootball) in December 2020: "The Premier League appeals to me, it has always been like that. I always had the feeling that the way I played would suit England well. The physical and the quick switching in the air are qualities that suit me."
Early last month, Tah reiterated those comments
