Jon Jones, Henry Cejudo, Conor McGregor: Chael Sonnen discusses who will return first in UFC

Outspoken Mixed Martial Arts star and personality Chael Sonnen recently predicted who would return to the UFC octagon first out of Jon Jones, Henry Cejudo and Irish Megastar Conor McGregor.

The three fighters are expected to be making their returns in the very near future, with McGregor recovering from injury, Cejudo coming out of retirement and Jones bulking up for a move to the heavyweight division.

Here is what Chael Sonnen had to say about Jon Jones, Henry Cejudo and Conor McGregor and who might return to the UFC first.

Speaking on his YouTube Channel, the former UFC fighter discussed who out of the big-name fighters he listed will probably be competing next inside the octagon.

Speaking first about Jones, Sonnen would refer to his upcoming return and his expected move to the heavyweight division.

He said: “Your guy is now back and he’s eligible and ready and nobody’s in a hurry to book him. Nobody’s too excited to hurry up and do that. So what do you do if you’re in Jon Jones’ spot? 

“Well, I think Jon’s doing anything right, quite frankly. Even if I just gave Jon a hard time? That was a period of time ago and he’s back, he’s got a different attitude…[but] he’s got extremely limited opponents. 

“Jon Jones coming to heavyweight is not thrilling, that excitement really pertained to Francis Ngannou. Stipe [Miocic] sure as hell works for me, I’ll tell you what I really, really would be looking forward to that contest.
