John Beaton 'Rangers fan' conspiracy sparks Celtic diehard meltdown as 2 wild ref solutions met with hysterics

Pundits Kenny Miller and Gordon Dalziel couldn't contain their laughter after a Celtic fan floated surprise solutions on air amid concerns over the standards of refereeing in Scotland.

The rant from a Clyde 1 Superscoreboard caller was sparked by claims that referee John Beaton was a Rangers fan and should not be able to be a match official during Celtic games - following on from a controversial performance from the VAR room during the Hoops defeat to Hearts. The Irishman named Beaton during a furious post-match rant - and Davie took issue with the display from the VAR. So you sign up to be a referee and in the process you are doing yourself out of any cup final or semi-final or any big game. And take it from personal experience, if you say you are a St Mirren fan, a Motherwell fan, a Kilmarnock fan people don't believe you anyway."
