John & Afolayan recalled? Bolton Wanderers predicted starting team vs Lincoln City

Bolton Wanderers boss Ian Evatt will continue his squad rotation policy throughout October to keep his side in the most sharpest state possible during eight games throughout a busy month.

Wanderers return from the international break tomorrow when they take on Lincoln City at the University of Bolton Stadium. It will be the first of seven games they will face in League One in the coming weeks.

Trips to Cheltenham Town, Forest Green Rovers and Accrington Stanley follow in October. Wanderers also host Barnsley, Burton Albion and Oxford United at home, as well as Leeds United's under-21s in the Papa Johns Trophy.

Looking ahead to the clash against the Imps, Evatt has vowed to rotate his squad throughout the busy month. It begins with Lincoln and he is aware it will be a challenging test with what Mark Kennedy's side are capable of.

Evatt said: “We can’t keep going to the well with the same 11 players all of the time because the way we play and how intensely we play, we are at our best when we play with that zest. To maintain and keep that, you have to rotate because there are that many games.

“They are an entertaining team, they score goals. They have had some good results of late. There is good patterns, good rotation and bravery in possession. They have got some threats in the top end of the pitch.

"We are going to have to be at our best. You can’t dip below our level in this league because the minute you do, you lose football matches. It is really competitive, there are strange results every weekend.
