Bolton Wanderers have Conor Bradley stand-in 'ready' after Liverpool loanee picks up suspension

Ian Evatt has backed Lloyd Isgrove to step into the shoes left by Conor Bradley for Bolton Wanderers with the Liverpool loanee picking up a suspension.

The 19-year-old is spending the campaign out on loan at the University of Bolton Stadium from the Anfield club. He has established himself as the club's first choice at right wing-back.

Aside from missing the loss to Cheltenham Town on the road, where he was rested, he has played every game in League One for Bolton. He has scored three goals and the same number of assists in all competitions this campaign.

In the weekend stalemate against Barnsley, Bradley picked up his fifth booking of the campaign. As the 19-game mark is yet to be reached, he will be ruled out of the weekend trip to Accrington Stanley, but is available for tomorrow's clash against Leeds United's under-21s.

But Wanderers have been boosted in the right wing-back position of late thanks to the near return of Isgrove. Traditionally a winger, the attacker made his comeback from almost a year out last month in the Papa Johns Trophy against Tranmere Rovers.

Isgrove will play against Leeds in the same competition, Evatt has confirmed, and speaking before Bradley picked up his suspension against the Tykes, vowed the former is ready to step into the latter's shoes. He hopes Isgrove's appearance against Leeds will help him prepare him even further, with the weekend trip to Accrington on the horizon.
