Jamie Vardy Arsenal transfer wish revealed before Leicester City clash

Arsenal's Aaron Ramsdale says he would love to have Jamie Vardy "on my team".

The Gunners' No.1 managed to keep out Vardy when Leicester City lost 2-0 to Arsenal at the King Power Stadium in the Premier League back in October.

But he has revealed he still hates playing against the Foxes' star striker more than any other player.

“The one I hate playing against most is Jamie Vardy," said Ramsdale.

"The guy just doesn’t stop running.

"I’d love to have him on my team, hate playing against him.

"I’ve played against him five times now, he’s scored four times.”

Vardy will be out to improve that tally against Ramsdale when Leicester travel to the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, having made an impressive return to action from injury, helping City to victories over Burnley and Leeds United.
